TallyTimer is built by Faysal Hossain with a privacy-first mindset. This Service is designed to provide beautiful, reliable countdowns and reminders while keeping your personal data safe and under your control.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (TallyTimer Plus)
TallyTimer offers optional premium subscription features ("TallyTimer Plus"). We adhere strictly to Google Play Developer Policies regarding billing and payment privacy:
- Secure Google Play Billing: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and payment data are handled exclusively through the official Google Play In-App Billing System (
com.android.vending.BILLING). - Zero Payment Data Stored by Us: We do NOT collect, view, process, or store your credit/debit card numbers, bank account details, billing addresses, or payment credentials. All billing information is managed strictly by Google.
- Subscription Management: You can manage, cancel, or modify your subscription at any time directly through your Google Play Account > Payments & subscriptions.
- Purchase Verification & Restore: The app only verifies your purchase status token with Google Play services locally on your device to unlock and restore premium features.
Information Collection & Use
For a better experience while using our Service, the app operates primarily with local on-device storage. The data you enter (such as event names, target dates, custom colors, background photos, and notes) is stored locally on your device and is not collected or stored on our servers.
The app utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, improve performance, and detect crashes:
Calendar Permissions
To support optional calendar event imports, TallyTimer requests access to your device's calendar (READ_CALENDAR). This permission is strictly utilized to allow you to select existing events from your local calendar and convert them into countdowns. All processing happens entirely on your device. We do not transmit or upload your calendar data.
Data Backup and Restore
TallyTimer includes an optional backup and restore feature. Backups are exported as encrypted files saved to your local storage or personal cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive). You maintain full control over your backup files.
Notifications & Alarms
To deliver timely event countdown alerts and reminders, TallyTimer uses exact alarms and notification permissions (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM). These are triggered locally by your Android system without tracking personal activity.
Log Data & Diagnostics
In the event of an unexpected crash or error, anonymous diagnostic telemetry (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) may be collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us diagnose and fix bugs promptly.
Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
